The Food Literacy Project at Oxmoor Farm, with applicant Kelsey Voit, plans a series of controlled agricultural burns at 4606 E Manslick Rd to prevent pests and improve soil health. Burn windows are scheduled across several multi-day periods from late May through late November 2026, and the work has sign-offs from Soil and Water Conservation and the local fire department—so it’s a planned, supervised land-management practice rather than casual burning.
