1378 S Floyd St applied for Certificate of Appropriateness
Applicant Brian Hoehn of Hooker DeJong, Inc. has filed a Certificate of Appropriateness for a Historic Tax Credit rehabilitation of the circa-1930 three-story red brick apartment building at 1378 S Floyd St, owned by Directions Apts LLC.
The project, with a project value of $3.36 million, is mostly a careful facelift β in-kind brick and mortar repairs as needed, retained gutters, selective shingle replacement, new wood-clad double-hung Sun Architectural windows fitted to the original openings, insulated steel entry doors, a scraped-and-painted rear fire escape, and new condensers at the rear, all intended to preserve the buildingβs Tudor Revival character across its 18 units.
