Cook’s single-family home is getting a like-for-like 3.5-ton replacement — new air handler/coil, a 90% furnace and outdoor condenser — with the project estimated at $4,000. No new ductwork or ladder access is required and the condenser will sit at ground level, so it looks like a straightforward system refresh rather than a big remodel.
