1700 W Oak St electrical permit issued for 100-amp service change/rebuild

Licensed electrician Joseph Wheatley will replace the outdoor electrical service at 1700 W Oak St for owner Mukoma Rugia, performing a 100-amp service change/rebuild with an estimated cost of $3,300. Once LGE cuts the overhead service drop, Wheatley will remove the old riser, meterbase, and 100-amp outdoor main panel, then install a new riser, 100-amp meterbase and outdoor-rated main panel plus a grounding system with two ground rods and the code-required IBT (insulated bonding tap).
