2207 Rockford Ln building permit submitted for residential alteration

Yeni Torrez Remodeling LLC is planning a two-story residential alteration at 2207 Rockford Ln that includes a complete rewiring — about 80% of the drywall will be removed so electricians can run new wiring through the wall studs rather than the attic. While the drywall is out they'll create a new opening between the front entrance and family room framed with a header of four 2x8s supported by 2x6s, install 1/2" ultralight drywall (mold-resistant in bathrooms), add R13 wall insulation and R38 in ceilings, keep the existing structure and shingle roof unchanged, and note the project is estimated at $15,600 with separate permits planned for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
