1816 PERSHING AVE building permit applied for deck replacement

Owner John M. Inman is replacing the attached wood deck at 1816 Pershing Ave, removing an existing roughly 10' × 10' deck and constructing a new approximately 10' × 16' pressure-treated wood deck at the same elevation. Estimated at $5,000, the project includes a flashed ledger, 2×10 joists at 12 inches on center, pressure-treated beams on nine 6×6 posts with concrete footings, plus new decking, guards, stairs, handrails, blocking, connectors and corrosion-resistant fasteners — basically a sturdier, slightly larger porch for neighborhood hangs.
