2022 SPEED AVE building permit issued for kitchen pantry renovation

Owner James H. McFarland is giving the kitchen at 2022 Speed Ave a tidy refresh — widening the pantry opening from 28" to 40", adding a new 1/2" drywall ceiling and a small drop ceiling to hide plumbing. The modest project is estimated at $2,500, the permit has been reviewed and issued, and inspectors may verify the dropped-ceiling details; note that any work on a combustible exterior wall less than 3 feet from the property line must have one layer of 5/8" Type X gypsum on the interior and openings aren’t allowed.
