308 S PETERSON AVE applied for residential alteration permit

Owner Newman B. Travis has submitted a residential alteration permit for 308 South Peterson Ave, an estimated $130,000 finished-basement remodel. Licensed contractor Daniel Chaput will oversee work with Champions Waterproofing handling the waterproofing; plans call for breaking up and repouring a concrete section and adding exterior steps, reframing the garage opening for a new 96" three-panel patio door, replacing four windows, framing new basement rooms (including a workout room with barn doors and a storage room), installing insulation, drywall, LVP flooring, new doors and trim, a wet bar, updated electrical/plumbing/HVAC ducting, and new stairs, handrails and balusters to make the lower level fully livable.
