2114 Lakeside Dr Building Permit submitted for residential alteration

Guy A Holcomb/HD Concepts, Inc. plans to finish a partial basement at 2114 Lakeside Dr for owners Lori A. Elzy and Ravi J. Rafferty, converting about 314 sq ft of the space within a 505 sq ft framed area with an estimated cost of $68,000. The work calls for new 2x4 framed walls, 1/2" drywall in finished areas (5/8" in the garage), spray-foam insulation on exterior basement walls and the garage ceiling, and replacement of two windows in the finished area. The project will rebuild the existing staircase (same footprint) and add an exterior-grade door separating the garage from the new living space; HVAC, electrical, and plumbing will be handled under separate permits.
