6474 Ladd Ave applied for Building Permit to add lean-to carport

Owner Stephen Edward Nichols has submitted a residential addition permit to add a simple lean-to carport for parking at 6474 Ladd Ave. The 24' x 14' (~336 sq ft) shelter will be about 10' high on the house side and 9' on the low side, attached with 2x8s and braced by three 6x6 posts on concrete footings poured 24" deep to sit below the frost line; the project value is estimated at $1,900.
