Lumos Fiber is burying new lines around Louisville
Lumos Fiber is lining up buried work around Louisville, and 12,311 feet of conduit is going in across a big stretch of city streets.
The route runs past W Whitney Ave, Bellevue Ave, S 5th St, W Lansing Ave, Camden Ave, Beecher Ct, W Florence Ave, Gatewood Ave, and S 6th St, with directional boring, pulling, and splicing all planned between May 1 and May 29. Work hours are set for 8 AM to 5 PM, and crews say they’ll keep it to one side of the road at a time and move vehicles if a driveway needs a little breathing room.
