CAVEN AVE issued permit for Lumos fiber ROW work along City Row Roads

Lumos Fiber (applicant Danielle Allen) will be burying new fiber conduit along a long list of neighborhood streets — Caven Ave, Mc Crea Ln, Normie Ln, Jim Hawkins Dr, Harned Ave, Maynard Ave, Kurtz Ave, Slack Ave, Mullaney Ct, Billy Bone Ct, Gunn Ct, Caven Ct, Trewlaney Ct, Spyglass Ct, Pirate Ln, Normie Ct, Dawkins Ct, Benbow Dr, Harned Ct and Smoore Ct — installing 1.25" HDPE conduit and pulling and splicing fiber for about 24,034 feet of city right-of-way. Work performed by Millenium will use directional boring (no open trenches), happen one side of the road and one section at a time, and is scheduled 8 AM–5 PM from January 28 to February 20, 2026. Crews say they won’t continuously block driveways, will notify residents before short closures and will move vehicles on request — this is a permit extension of a prior application, so expect planned, short interruptions rather than a full street takeover.
