8609 Emrich Ave encroachment permit submitted for dirt cuts and lane closure
Louisville Gas and Electric has submitted an encroachment permit to dig two small dirt cuts (about 3' x 5' each) at 8609 Emrich Ave for excavation work. The project is scheduled from August 31 to September 28, 2026 — roughly four weeks — and will require a lane closure but no road or sidewalk shutdown. The permit is currently listed as submitted and awaiting review.
The city has not published a date for when this began.
