728 LAMPTON ST encroachment permit submitted
Kelli Starnes of Louisville Water Company has submitted an encroachment permit for work at 728 Lampton St, which is owned by Bates Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. The permit calls for one asphalt street cut (listed as 520' x 5') running from 801 S Clay St to 728 Lampton St, includes a road closure, and is scheduled for July 8–August 1, 2026 — so expect a few weeks of utility work rather than a full redevelopment.
