Louisville Gas & Electric Company (applicant Derek Wilkins) plans a single 3' x 400' asphalt street cut and excavation at 627 S Preston St, a parcel owned by the University of Louisville. The work is scheduled July 2–9, 2026, will require a lane closure but not a full road or sidewalk closure, so expect some traffic shifting along the block for about a week.
