615 MARRET AVE encroachment permit issued for pole replacement and lane closure

Louisville Gas & Electric Company is planning work on Marret Ave between S Jackson St and the dead end, closing the eastbound curb lane at 615 Marret Ave to replace one utility pole and install another. The property owner is Deckel & Moneypenny Inc., LGE says line transfers and pole removal notifications will go through the National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS) and the area around the poles will be restored under the LMPW Restoration Policy — work is scheduled from July 6 to October 26, 2026, so expect some temporary lane changes.
