1618 Jaeger Ave encroachment permit issued for Lead Replacement Project

Louisville Water Company is doing a lead-service replacement at 1618 Jaeger Ave for owner Lipsey Curtis III, which requires an encroachment and will close a lane and the sidewalk between Baxter Ave and Hartman Ave. The job runs June 21–July 18, 2026, and includes one 4' x 5' pavement cut on the south side of Jaeger Ave that will be plated and reopened to traffic at the end of each shift; restoration will follow LMPW utility policy and residents were notified on June 9, 2026. Project Manager Joseph Sloan is handling the work, with Southern Pipe Construction as the contractor.
