1430 Christy Ave continued encroachment permit for lead replacement project

Louisville Water Company is continuing an encroachment permit to replace a lead service line at 1430 Christy Ave for owner Roosa Steven A. The work (managed by Joseph Sloan and contracted to Basham Construction) will close a lane and the sidewalk between Edward St and Rubel Ave, include a single 4' x 5' pavement cut on the east side, and the road will be plated and returned to traffic at the end of each shift; restoration will follow LMPW utility policy and residents were notified on 3/30/2026.
