200 E Chestnut Street sidewalk and parking lane closure for Norton Hospital

Schnell Contractors, Inc. will be waterproofing the sidewalk directly in front of the two hospital entrances at 200 E Chestnut (owned by Norton Children's Hospitals Inc.), which requires sidewalk and parking lane closures and bagged meters. The work will be done in two phases so the hospital can keep one entrance open at a time, and two traffic plans are attached for those staged closures. Schnell says the sidewalk and surrounding areas will be restored to their pre-closure condition and any damaged slab will be fully replaced; work is scheduled from June 8 to September 1, 2026.
