1250 Bardstown Rd submitted for Encroachment Permit for Mid-City Market

Applicant Matt McLaren of Gresham Smith has submitted permit review plans to redevelop the Mid-City Mall property at 1250 Bardstown Rd. for Bardstown Road Investment Company into "Mid-City Market," anchored by a big-box grocer with an attached retail tenant plus five additional retail buildings, new parking and access/circulation drives. The plans cover demolition, grading, drainage, erosion and sediment controls, utilities, landscaping and construction details, and note sidewalk closures, multiple utility cuts and a projected work window from October 1, 2026 to May 1, 2028.
