12901 Plantside Dr applied for encroachment permit for fiber conduit placement

Tim A. Jones of Versi‑Com, Inc., consulting for Great Plains Communications, plans to run new conduit and fiber along Plantside Drive at 12901 Plantside Dr — two 1.25‑inch HDPE conduits will be directionally bored in place, one carrying a new 288‑count fiber optic cable and the other reserved for future use. Work on County Of Shelby, Kentucky property will install five new 30" × 48" × 36" handholes, require excavation for bore entry/exit pits, and use temporary lane and sidewalk controls to keep traffic and pedestrians moving between June 1 and August 3, 2026, with most activity confined to the public right‑of‑way.
