Louisville Water Company is carrying out a lead service-line replacement at 4132 Virginia Ave for owner Ronald E. Coleman, and has an encroachment permit that will close the lane and sidewalk between S 42nd St and Cecil Avenue. Work by Basham Construction runs May 24 to June 27, 2026, with excavation, restoration per LMPW utility policy, and all utility markings removed from the work area; resident notification letters went out on May 18.
