400 FAIRDALE RD encroachment permit continuation for water main installation

Louisville Water Company is continuing a water‑main installation along Fairdale Rd at 400 Fairdale Rd (owner: Robin Gornto Realty LLC), with work scheduled May 24–June 27, 2026. Basham Construction will make seven 4'‑wide cuts — from a short 22' trench up to a 1,635' stretch — plus a 4' x 255' sidewalk cut near 903 Fairdale Rd; portions of the road and sidewalks will be closed during work but plated and reopened at the end of shifts, and restoration will follow LMPW utility policy. Project manager Jacob Clark notes residents, Fairdale High School, TARC and city agencies were notified.
