213 N 15TH ST encroachment permit issued for curb lane closure and pole work

Louisville Gas & Electric Company will be working on N 15th Street between Rowan and Lytle with an encroachment permit for 213 N 15th St to close the northbound curb lane and replace two utility poles from May 27 to June 24, 2026. Applicant Derek Wilkins (and project engineer Ambreen Quereshi) say the area around the poles will be restored under LMPW restoration policy, and line transfer and pole removal notifications will go through the National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS). The property is owned by E B M Realty LLC, so expect some temporary lane changes while crews are on site.
