3001 River Park Dr encroachment permit issued for gas work

Louisville Gas & Electric Company (applicant Zachary Mark Lambertus) will close the northernmost eastbound curb lane on River Park Drive to perform a small excavation at 3001 River Park Dr. They plan a single 3' x 5' dirt cut to repair a gas leak on the stretch between S 31st St and S 30th St, with the property owned by the Louisville & Jefferson County Landbank. The cut will be backfilled and restored under Louisville Metro Public Works (LMPW) restoration policy, with work scheduled between May 26 and June 23, 2026.
