1300 W Chestnut St encroachment permit for duct installation

Louisville Gas & Electric Company plans to do electrical work on the 12th Street connector near 1300 W Chestnut St (owned by Porter A D & Sons Inc.), with work scheduled between 06/01/2026 and 07/31/2026. The job would close the easternmost southbound curb lane and includes one 3' x 5' asphalt cut to install a duct, with any pavement repairs handled under the LMPW restoration policy. This is a continuation of a previous permit and the work has not yet started.
