707 E Breckinridge St encroachment permit issued for water main replacement

Louisville Water Company is replacing a water main at 707 E Breckinridge St (owner: Harris Latanja), with work running between S Clay St and S Shelby St that includes one pavement cut about 5' x 520'. Crews will close the road from May 18 to June 20, 2026 but will plate and reopen it to traffic at the end of each work shift, and restoration will follow LMPW utility policy. Project manager Jacob Clark (502-533-5042, jmclark@louisvillewater.com) is overseeing the job, which Basham Construction is performing, and residents were notified on May 11, 2026.
