AT&T is applying for an encroachment permit to place aerial cable in the alley behind 706 East Broadway, between South Clay Street and South Shelby Street. The work on property owned by 706 E Broadway Partners LLC is planned between May 19 and June 19, 2026 and will require driving-lane closures with any pauses over intersections limited to about five minutes; no street restoration is expected.
