201 W Main St encroachment permit for milling/paving and lane closures

MAC Construction & Excavating, Inc., working for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet as part of the "Main Remade" project, will mill and resurface E Main Street (US 31E) between 2nd Street and Wenzel Street — with repaving on First Street from Market to Main — with activity centered near 201 W Main St. Expect temporary lane closures, some road closures, and about 150 "No Parking" signs during paving and pavement marking from May 18 to June 17, 2026, so plan alternate routes; Ted Newton is the project manager and the Parking Authority of River City Inc. is listed as the property owner.
