222 S 1ST ST encroachment permit issued for LGE electrical work
Louisville Gas & Electric Company plans underground electrical work at 222 S 1st St, accessing 18 manholes between East Main and West Chestnut and temporarily closing the southbound curb lanes (they say the closures won’t happen all at once). The permit lists 222 Development LLC as owner, runs May 8–June 5, 2026 as a continuation of a prior permit, and notes there will be no pavement cuts to restore — project contacts include Justin Malloy and Kaitlyn Downs for more details.
