1300 W CHESTNUT ST encroachment permit issued for duct work and lane closure

Louisville Gas & Electric Company is planning utility work on the 12th Street connector that affects 1300 W Chestnut St, which is owned by Porter A D & Sons Inc. The permit allows closing the easternmost southbound curb lane from May 4 to June 1, 2026, to make one 3' x 5' asphalt cut to install a duct, with the pavement to be restored under LMPW’s restoration policy.
