200 W Breckinridge St encroachment permit issued for curb lane, sidewalks

Louisville Gas & Electric Company will be doing underground electrical work at 200 W Breckinridge St — the property is owned by Spalding University Inc. To access a manhole and install UG electrical lines, crews will close the westbound curb lane and both the northernmost and southernmost sidewalks between S 3rd St and S 1st St from May 11 to August 7, 2026. No street cuts are planned, so expect lane and sidewalk detours but not pavement restorations.
