649 S 1ST ST encroachment permit for 2nd Street sidewalk closure

Marrillia Design & Construction, represented by FaLena Roselee Perry, has applied for an encroachment permit at 649 S 1st St on property owned by the Commonwealth of KY FBO KCTCS. The plan calls for roughly 550 feet of the east sidewalk along 2nd Street (starting at West Broadway) to be closed from 4/27/2026 to 6/30/2026 while crews remove a retaining wall, do grading, pour concrete foundations for fencing, install fencing and a concrete monument sign, and complete landscaping adjacent to the new JCTC parking structure.
