630 E Oak St Encroachment Permit issued to install water main; road closed

LWC has an encroachment permit to install a new water main on E Oak Street between S Hancock Street and S Clay Street, temporarily closing the road at 630 E Oak St (owner: Robertson Timothy) until construction is complete. Contractor Garney will make one 92' x 5' pavement cut in the centerline, with work scheduled April 26–June 27, 2026 and daily hours of 7 a.m.–7 p.m.; the site will be secured each day and restored per LMPW utility policy. Residents were notified at least seven days ahead, so expect some local access changes—short-term inconvenience for a long-term water upgrade.
