1269 S Preston St submitted for encroachment permit for lane closure work

Louisville Water (applicant Brad Walter McBride) will be doing utility excavation and restoration at 1269 S Preston St, a property owned by Henry Kevin Hoskins, with work scheduled April 27–May 22, 2026. Crews will work one lane at a time west to east using traffic control and flaggers, close the east sidewalk, perform one 25 x 1 pavement cut and one 5 x 5 sidewalk cut, plate the road at the end of each shift, and restore the area per Louisville Metro Public Works utility policy. Project manager Clay Robinson is listed on the permit if neighbors want to follow up.
