1005 S 28TH ST submitted Encroachment Permit for sewer service repair

Brainer Plumbing, LLC (applicant Jacob Darnell) will finish replacing about 30 feet of sewer line at 1005 S 28th St for owner Carvez Gibbs. Crews will trench down to the backyard cleanout — the pipe sits about 6 feet deep so they'll rent a trench box for safety — and will need to remove a stretch of sidewalk alongside the house plus a remaining fence panel to reach the line. The new pipe will be bedded with rock and backfilled to rough grade; the contractor notes they aren't responsible for replacing the sidewalk or fence, and the work is scheduled for April 20–21, 2026.
