814 E Main Street encroachment permit issued for sidewalk closure

Calhoun Construction (applicant Louis DalleCarbonare) has an encroachment permit to close the sidewalk at 814 E Main St — owned by Nulu Commons North LLC — to operate a boom lift and install strip lighting on the building’s north face at the Nulu Marketplace. Work is scheduled April 17–June 12, 2026, but the lift must be removed and the sidewalk reopened for Thunder over Louisville on April 18, the Derby Marathon on April 25, and Derby Day on May 2, and it may not be stored on the street.
