8805 Old Bardstown Rd encroachment permit for MSD Fairmount Rd PS Force Main Ph 2

MAC Construction & Excavating, Inc., working for the Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District, will close Old Bardstown Rd between the north and south intersections with Fairmount Rd to install a 20-inch ductile iron sewer force main at 8805 Old Bardstown Rd. The Phase 2 work—part of a 6,043-foot force main extension scheduled May 4–June 27, 2026—includes an open-cut crossing at the northern intersection, a 90-degree turn through the grassy east side down to the southern intersection, asphalt cutting only at the crossing, and full trench backfill and reseeding per MSD specs; the site is owned by Goodwill Industries of Kentucky Inc.
