115 S 17th St encroachment permit to close curb lane for fiber optic work
Hutchins Telecom, via applicant Chris Lindsey of Yates Engineering Services, is planning to close the curb lane on N/S 17th St to overlash fiber optic cable from 115 S 17th St to 111 N 17th St — the parcel at 115 S 17th St is owned by Terry & Barbara Shellhamer LLC. The work is scheduled April 20–27, 2026 with no excavation or major restoration expected, and residents from 111 N 17th St to 115 S 17th St (and nearby Main Street addresses) will be notified in person a week before with dated door hangers.
