8704 Brown Austin Rd encroachment permit issued for LGE electric work

Louisville Gas & Electric Company (applicant Derek Wilkins) will close the eastbound curb lane on Brown Austin Road between New Cut Road and Hindle Avenue to replace two utility poles at 8704 Brown Austin Rd, with work scheduled April 8–May 6, 2026. The area around the poles will be restored under LMPW restoration policy, line transfers and pole removals will be coordinated through the National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS), and the property is owned by Roque Investments LLC.
