1437 STORY AVE Encroachment Permit Issued for Adams St road closure

Brad Walter McBride of Louisville Water is planning to install a new fire service at 1437 Story Ave, with crews working on Adams Street between Story Ave and E. Washington St. The project (scheduled April 8–May 7, 2026) will close Adams between Story and E. Washington with a detour on the traffic plan, requires one 38x5 street cut and one 5x5 sidewalk cut, crews will plate and reopen the road each night, and restoration will follow LMPW utility policy; the property owner is Platinum Dharma Properties LLC.
