1056 Bardstown Rd encroachment permit issued for sidewalk safety barriers

Louisville Metro ABC is installing bicycle-rack–type barriers and other standard barricades along Bardstown Rd between Grinstead Dr. and Baxter Ave, creating a partial blockage of the sidewalk and parking lane at 1056 Bardstown Rd to keep foot traffic safe and passable. Work runs March 27–October 2, 2026 (full sidewalk closure allowed if needed), there will be no pavement or sidewalk cuts, barriers will be removed by ABC and/or LMPD when finished, the property owner is Green Lite LLC, and questions can be directed to Bradley Silveria at 502-574-3852.
