1403 Rowan Street encroachment permit submitted for lane/sidewalk closures

Louisville Gas & Electric Company is planning utility work on Rowan St between North 15th Street and the dead end for property owner 1416 Lytle Development LLC at 1403 Rowan St. The crew is requesting intermittent closures of the eastbound and westbound curb lanes (not at the same time) and the southernmost sidewalk from April 1 to June 24, 2026 to perform three cuts (a 3'×5' sidewalk cut, a 3'×50' sidewalk cut, and a 3'×50' asphalt cut), plus one pole replacement and one pole installation. Cuts will be restored under LMPW restoration policy and line transfers/pole removals will be coordinated through the National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS); the record notes this continues a prior permit and work has not yet started.
