5001 Ferrer Way encroachment permit issued for LGE pole work and curb lane

Louisville Gas & Electric Company, via applicant Derek Wilkins, is planning utility work to replace eight poles and close the northbound curb lane near 5001 Ferrer Way; the property is owned by Dunlap Properties LLC. The project runs April 29 to July 1, 2026, the area around the poles will be restored under the LMPW restoration policy, and line transfers and pole removals will be coordinated through the National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS).
