8701 ZABEL WAY encroachment permit for curb lane closure and pole replacement

Louisville Gas & Electric Company will be doing work on Zabel Way at 8701 Zabel Way, temporarily closing the westbound curb lane to replace five utility poles. The project—filed by Derek Wilkins with project engineer Matt Tingle—is scheduled from April 29 to July 1, 2026, and the area around the poles will be restored under the LMPW restoration policy. Owner Almeida Orlidio is listed for the property, and LGE says line transfers and pole removals will be coordinated through the National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS).
