2122 Algonquin Pkwy encroachment permit for lane closure

Louisville Water Company (LWC) is planning a lead service-line replacement on Algonquin Pkwy between S 23rd and S 22nd that includes a single 4' x 5' pavement cut in the right lane at 2122 Algonquin Pkwy. Work runs March 29–April 25, 2026, with a temporary lane closure (the road will be plated and reopened at the end of work shifts) and restoration to follow LMPW utility policy. Project manager Joseph Sloan and contractor Basham Construction sent resident notifications on 3/23/2026; the property is owned by the Burke Family Irrevocable Trust.
