2024 SHERWOOD AVE encroachment permit for Lead Replacement Project

Louisville Water Company (LWC) is doing a lead service-line replacement at 2024 Sherwood Ave, owned by Hoffman Roger S, which involves one pavement cut (about 4' x 5') in the center of Sherwood between Bardstown Rd and Cherokee Rd and a road closure that will be plated and reopened to traffic at the end of each work shift (work runs roughly 3/29/2026–4/25/2026). Project Manager Joseph Sloan and contractor Basham Construction are handling the job, resident notification letters were sent on 3/23/2026, and city agencies including JCPS, TARC, Metro Government, METROSafe, and 311 were notified.
