1271 S SHELBY ST encroachment permit for Lead Replacement Project Two

Louisville Water Company (LWC) has applied for an encroachment permit to close the left lane on S Shelby Street between Camp Street and Goss Avenue for a lead service-line replacement at 1271 S Shelby St, involving two small pavement cuts roughly 4' x 5'. The property owner is Kitchen Restylers; the job is managed by Joseph Sloan with Basham Construction as the contractor, and the road will be plated overnight and restored per LMPW utility policy. Residents were notified on 3/23/2026 and the work is scheduled from March 29 to April 25, 2026, with notices also sent to JCPS, TARC, Metro Government, METROSafe and 311.
