2202 St Louis Ave Encroachment Permit Issued for Lead Replacement

Louisville Water Company is doing a lead service-line replacement at 2202 St Louis Ave under an encroachment permit, with work scheduled March 29, 2026–April 25, 2026. Owner Joyner Jones Geraldine was notified; contractor Basham Construction will close Saint Louis Avenue between Temple Street and S 23rd Street to make one 4' x 5' pavement cut in the middle of the street (the trench will be plated and the road reopened at the end of each shift), and the site will be restored per LMPW utility policy — Joseph Sloan is the project manager.
