1300 Southwestern Pkwy ROW permit to bore 900 ft fiber optic in curb lane

Hutchins Telecom plans to bore about 900 feet of fiber optic cable in the Metro right-of-way along Southwestern Parkway, from 1300 Southwestern Pkwy to Gibson Lane. The work is scheduled for roughly March 30–April 3, 2026, includes two small 3' x 4' dirt cuts and a curb-lane closure (no full road or sidewalk closures), and the property owner is Ashland Oil & Ref Co. Neighbors between 4425 Boyd Way and 4510 Algonquin Pkwy will get in-person notices a week before work and dated door hangers; project contacts include applicant Chris Lindsey and contractor Scott Heun.
